Barker Bridge House
Trust

Working for the  benefit of Datchet and its residents since 1644

Home
Grants may be awarded to clubs and organisations based in Datchet for the use of residents of the village   The trustees prefer to grant money to capital projects or for the purchase of specific items of equipment, but other types of expenditure are not necessarily excluded.   Support cannot be given for general running costs or the provision of staff, or for projects that should be financed from public funds.

Support has been given to many organisations including sports clubs, church groups, youth organisations and local hospices.   If you feel you have a project that will improve your club facilities or enable you to offer more to your members, write to BBHT to see if your scheme can receive funding from the Trust, with grants ranging from a few pounds to several thousands of pounds.

MAKING AN APPLICATION:

The application process is not complicated, although the Trust meets only twice a year in April and October.   Write a letter to the trust to explain your project, and include information on the following:
  1. Evidence that you are a Datchet based organisation.
  2. A description of your activities and membership.
  3. A description of the project or activities for which you require funding.
  4. An estimated cost including copies of quotations where possible.
  5. What other sources of funding you have or are applying for.
  6. How much you would like from the Trust.
